While this collection of colorful cities is by no means exhaustive, we think it’s entirely appropriate to celebrate the end of summer with a series of photographs featuring the most colorful cities in the world. Take a photographic journey with us, as we travel from Cinque-Terre in Italy to Cape Town in South Africa.
You may have already heard of the famous blue hues on the homes in Jodhpur, India, and here they are featured, from an impressive angle. Then we head on south, to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, Valparaiso in Mexico, as well as to Guanahuato in Mexico, to sample some of the local colors. There are plenty of other colorful urban spaces around the world, which didn’t make it into the collection (Burano in Italy, and virtually any town in Greece)—and we’re also looking forward to hearing some suggestions from you in the comments section!
