When Brad decided to propose to girlfriend Emily, he didn’t just stop for the ring. He wanted to show the rest of us what a romantic marriage proposal looks like. He also called his friends and family to take part in a coordinated lip-synching dance to One Direction’s One Thing as they made their way along a scenic pathway to a beautiful beach . And it didn’t end there…
How the hell did he do it? As much as we adore our friends and family, there is absolutely no way we’d ever be able to organise them all into doing something like this. Half of them would be late, sick or go to the wrong car park. It would almost definitely rain. And our chances of persuading everyone we know to learn the words to a One Direction track are practically zilch.
So is Brad’s effort the best proposal of all time? Very possibly. But then again, here are two other proposals that are as baffling.
Isaac’s Live Lip-Dub Proposal
“On Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012, I told my girlfriend to meet me at my parent’s house for dinner. When she arrived I had stationed my brother to sit her in the back of an open Honda CRV and give her some headphones. He “wanted to play her a song“…”
New York Park Flash Mob Proposal
“On June 9, 2012 I told Allison to meet me in Bryant Park for lunch. When she arrived I had her close friend meet her and walk her toward the steps of the park. Then, a woman unknown to Allison, came up and led her to the center table for a little show…”
